The Union’s picks in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft are the subject of the latest installment of KYW’s Philly Soccer Show, recorded Thursday night after the draft.

Philadelphia Union rookie goalkeeper Zak MacMathis is the featured guest on the show, having sat in for an interview Thursday after he was the team’s first round draft pick. MacMatch talks about his prospects for starting or playing behind Brad Knighton or Faryd Mondragon, as well as the unique pressures that come with following Chris Seitz, another former University of Maryland goalkeeper.

Hosts Greg Orlandini of KYW Newsradio and PSP editor Dan Walsh also talk some more about those challenges, as well as the rest of the Union’s haul in the draft and the club’s recent deal for Bimbo to be its first jersey sponsor.
