In the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show, KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s writer Mike Servedio have a quick discussion as the Philadelphia Union have hit a little dip in their season. After a tough 1-0 last minute loss at Houston Dynamo last weekend, the team gears up to face one of their main rivals, DC United, in Chester on Saturday.
The Union battled DC to a tough 1-0 win the last time they met in May.
While the Union have had a difficult run in the league since the return from the Copa America break, the team has advanced to the quarterfinals of the US Open Cup on July 20 where they face off against New England Revolution on the road after defeating New York Red Bulls on June 29.
