Philadelphia Union vs CF Montréal: 1-1

On what was predicted to be a rainy night with possible flooding, the Philadelphia Union took on CF Montréal at Subaru Park on Alumni Night. Sebastian LeToux, Ray Gaddis, Fred, Ryan Richter along with Warren Creavalle and Zach Pfeffer all made appearances to either sign autographs or take part in half time festivities. The boys in blue had a frustrating night not only with the referee’s lack of calls but also with their inability to get shots on goal. Sergio Santos had a physical night against Samuel Piette, getting tangled up and taken down a few times during the game without a call from the official. Quinn Sullivan made his 14th appearance for the Union and tied the game 1-1, in the 87th minute with an Assist from Jack Elliot. Six yellow cards were issued during the game, 2 to the Union and 4 to CF Montréal. CF Montréal received most of the yellow cards for delay of game towards the end of the second half.

The Union will be traveling to DC United on Saturday.

As always, Olivier Mbaizo is focused on the game, looking for the opportunity to make the play to result in a goal.
