  1. Following up Union 2’s comeback win against Loudoun Sunday afternoon, there is now a recap with a Union 2 starting lineup and two subs (don’t know if there were more). https://www.philadelphiaunion.com/news/union-2-battles-back-to-defeat-loudoun-united-fc
    .
Aaronson and Ranjitsingh apparently did not participate, suggesting they may have gone to Atlanta for practice purposes probably, given how Jim Curtin likes to practice the day before a match (real intensity, but no anaerobic energy expenditure.)
    .
Also, of interest Union 2 now have a match away to Loudoun United Saturday May 8th at 2 PM. It fills a gap for Loudon between its league opener on May 2 and its next league game May 18, which probably explains its existence. It is two MLS 2 teams doing each other favors, after one has left the other’s league.

  2. I think Mark McKenzie is the first player to win a domestic cup trophy in Europe in the season immediately following a MLS trophy since Roger Espinosa.

    Not bad.

Just saw the schedule for CCL tomorrow and I have to ask WTF? Why does Toronto have a 10pm start in Florida? I mean I understand trying to avoid overlaps in the games but 10pm????
