  1. Even as a Spurs fan, I thought that should have been a red. I also thought red cards are the one thing that IS reviewable even after the next whistle. If VAR changed their mind a few minutes later, why did they not signal down to the ref and let him know?

    • It’s my understanding that the “Oops that should of been a red card” came from ‘supervisors’ not the VAR Official in the office watching the game. The VAR official has no outside world contact, (social media, phone, etc.) until the match is over.

  2. Leagues Cup ticket presale started today for full STH. General public on sale is Wednesday at 10am. They are only being sold in 3 game strips (round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals) with 1/3 of the price being charged now and the rest as the Union confirm hosting for further rounds.

They are only using sections 121-133 plus the center 3 supporters sections so no guarantee people will get their regular seats (and they definitely won’t get them if they are in other sections). Prices aren’t exorbitant. Supporter seats are $70 for all three games combined. Section 127 is the most expensive at $151 for all 3.

    • I have been a season ticket holder since the start and would be interested in this tournament but I don’t like the way they are rolling this out. I work Tuesday evenings and can’t commit to a game that night so won’t purchase without knowing the dates. The good thing is that i suspect there will be cheap tickets readily available come game time if I want to go.

      • I don’t think you will have a problem finding a ticket when you decide if you can make it. They are starting with the Bridge side only, and are only selling every other row right now beyond the first 10 rows.
