Two late goals spelled disaster for the Union U-17’s at the Generation Adidas Cup. The result meant that Colorado Rapids squeaked into the semifinals by just one point.

Mark McKenzie is ready for his first start of the season.

Does Brendan Aaronson have a chance at the U-20 World Cup?

Vancouver Whitecaps supporters staged a walkout at last night’s match versus Los Angeles FC. The walkout was in protest of the club’s complicity and silence amid some pretty damning abuse allegations by former women’s team players against the coaching staff. Well done, Southsiders!

Vancouver won the match 1-0 over previously undefeated LAFC thanks to a pretty Inbeom Hwang (who is quickly becoming one of my favorite newcomers to the league this year).

Future Miami-based USL Championship side FXE Futbol is suing Inter Miami over Lockhart Stadium plans, alleging the latter was given preferential treatment in the bid process.

No. 1 pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft Frankie Amaya has been loaned to Orange County SC.

Very cool League One club Tormenta FC has a very cool, very well-dione little docu-series about the club’s rise in southern Georgia.

You can watch the first episode here.

Orlando Pride were spanked 5-0 at North Carolina Courage.

Chicago Red Stars inked a deal with NBC Sports Chicago. Need this more across the league.

Speaking of the Red Stars, straight baller Sam Kerr is nominated for BBC Footballer of the Year award.

Nothing about that crazy Champions League game at the Etihad yesterday? 2-2 after 11 minutes. Controversial goal for Tottenham to get within the necessary 1 goal margin and very close offsides on the goal in stoppage time that likely would have sent City through to the semis.

I was thinking the same thing. Today, of all days, the World Round-up is skipped!?!? :p

    • Sorry guys. I do this bleary-eyed early in the morning before I start work and totally forgot about the UCL results.
      .
But then again you guys already knew about it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Not a problem, Steven. I appreciate all that you and your daily roundup cohorts do to bring as much as you do (except when you send me to a site where I’ve used up my monthly free allotment…that I’m not so thrilled about) 🙂
