  1. The Philly Soccer Show podcast after the Elliott interview touches on the woes of the organization as they keep slipping behind the new MLS. something more needs to be done to fill seats and it better happen soon.

also some good insight on being a world cup spectator.

    • Thanks for highlighting the podcast. I was in Germany in 2006 and agree that it is a thing every soccer fan needs to experience. I plan to go to Qatar in 2022 since all stadiums will be close to each other and it will be easy to go to the games. BigSoccer also had some tips during the WC in Russia on how to get tickets. Getting tickets is usually the hardest thing to do during a WC.

  2. Precourt moving forward in Austin is not a bad thing for #SaveTheCrew
    .
The Modell lawsuit is in full effect, and MLS is currently in negotiations with local groups in Columbus to outright buy the team. They are fighting hard for that.
    .
It’s unfortunate for Austin that they chose to partner with a snake like Precourt, but it actually clears up what has been a very murky situation in a lot of ways.
    .
Now is the time for fans around the league to show The Don that the Crew belong in Columbus. If you want to keep relocation out of US Soccer, now is the time to make your voice heard.
    .
#SaveTheCrew’s success (whether it is or isn’t) will have ripples on soccer’s future. Let’s make sure that it helps keep teams home.
