  1. With all the travel, it will be interesting to see if Curtin gives Medunjanin some rest and starts Jones against Colorado. With it being an away game it wouldn’t be the worst thing to stay defensive and grind out a point.

    • Knowing this club, they’ll never give DJones another look at the first team and he’ll waste away somewhere until his potential career has passed him by. Classic Union. You can’t apply logic to squad rotation, Kevin1813, that just doesn’t compute with this club. We’re going to run our midfield of Haris/Borek/Ale into the ground this season, injuries and two-game weeks be damned.

  2. Who underrates Piatti? Dude’s a killer and everyone knows it, no?

    • He only got $350k last year – that is severely underrated for what he provides, especially in comparison to Gio. He did sign a new contract, so maybe he gets betterrated?

      • Definitely have to go with Gio being overrated. As for Piatti, I don’t think he gets as much exposure as some of the rest. He’s not a lauded as say Martinez and Almiron for Atlanta. In no way am I saying Piatti is a bad player, for the record. Just doesn’t get the MLS pundit love that some others do.

  3. btw – for any who caught my rant on domestic players after Week 1, it’s not as bleak as what I had read previously:

  4. The link to the Tannenwald article took me to the article about Dave Sarachan.

  5. FYI I didn’t even think there was a roundup today because two articles from yesterday are showing up in the lead instead. Might want to see if you can fix that.
