In the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show podcast, KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Mike Servedio start off the show with a breakdown of Philadelphia Union’s loss last weekend to New York Red Bulls.

The loss knocked the Union to sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings with two games to go in the regular season. The game also saw two top players, Josh Yaro and Alejandro Bedoya, subbed out with injuries. The Union is off this weekend before hosting Orlando City on Oct. 16.

Local labor attorney, soccer historian, and PSP contributor Steve Holroyd then joins Greg and Mike to talk about some issues facing the NASL and the effect it could have on soccer in the US. The guys also discuss the latest salary figures released by the MLS Players Union.
