In the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show podcast, Philadelphia Union midfielder Michael Farfan sits down with KYW’s Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch. The second-round draft pick, who saw spotty playing time earlier in the year, is now carving out a regular spot on the right side of the midfield.

In part one, Farfan talks about how he is dealing with the increase in playing time as the Union make a push for the playoffs. He also reflects on what it’s like play on the team with his identical twin, Union defender Gabriel Farfan.

In part two, with two games left in the regular season, the first-place Union hold their playoff destiny in their hands. Toronto FC, thrashed by the Union 6-2 on the road earlier this year, come to PPL Park on Saturday. Greg and Eli discuss what to expect.

In part three, one win and two goals are the stats so far in the five games since Jurgen Klinsmann took over as head coach of the USMNT. Thankfully, all the games were friendlies. The German native picked up his first win as US coach against Honduras on Saturday but dropped the next game versus Ecuador on Tuesday. Greg and Eli talk about how things are looking.
