PSP’s preview of Saturday’s Philadelphia Union v Portland Timbers also contained the news that Keon Daniel would be unavailable for that game.

The PSP has since learned that Daniel’s unavailability stems from problems with the US Immigration Service.

When asked about the nature of Daniel’s unavailability, a spokesperson for the Union said, “He’s working on some visa issues.”

Philly.com’s Kerith Gabriel adds, “While team officials would not confirm or deny the claim, one team source said simply Daniel will ‘not be available for tomorrow’s match. We are working to examine and resolve the issues, and hope to have a prompt solution.’”

Daniel was called up for 2–1 loss to Columbus.

PSP will provide further information as it becomes available.

  1. The person in immigration must be a Timbers’ fan … FFS, I was SO looking forward to having Neon Keon back in the lineup.

  2. He should’ve used his American Express. ::rimshot::
