Pennsylvania Amateur Cup Final on April 3

Headlining the local matches scheduled for Sunday, April 3, is the Eastern Pennsylvania Final of the United States Amateur Soccer Association (USASA) Amateur Cup competition. The matchup features two longtime heavyweights in local soccer, as VE (Vereinigung Erzgebirge) hosts the Phoenix Sports Club for a 3pm kickoff.  The match will be on the new clubhouse field at VE, located at 130 Davisville Road, Warminster, PA 18974.

The USASA Amateur Cup is a yearly national competition for non-professional teams that has been contested since 1923. Local teams that have won the competition include the Philadelphia German-Americans (1933, 34), Trenton Highlanders (1937), United German Hungarians (UGH) (1965), and Philadelphia Inter (1973, 74).
