  1. The Becks statue is so silly. Any statue for a living person is pretty silly. There are few exceptions and a guy who played somewhere for less than a decade (in the twilight of his career) ain’t one of them.

  5. Still trying to learn what the meaning or timeline of “on the verge” and “close to” is. News of Marco Fabian broke on Tuesday so when it still hasn’t happened, I get a little nervous. Been waiting on Harper for Phillies too so I guess I should be used to it.
