Philadelphia Union

FC Cincinnati’s expansion draft was yesterday. No Union players were picked. Not sure what to make of that.

The Union’s 17-man roster at the moment:
Goalkeepers (1): Andre Blake.
Defenders (6): Jack Elliott, Olivier Mbaizo, Mark McKenzie, Matt Real, Keegan Rosenberry, Auston Trusty.
Midfielders (8): Brenden Aaronson, David Accam, Alejandro Bedoya, Ilsinho, Anthony Fontana, Derrick Jones, Haris Medunjanin, Fafa Picault.
Forwards (2): Cory Burke, CJ Sapong.

The Union added JisForJeff as its second eMLS competitor.

Apparently, kits news is dropping this morning.

is it me or is the second Union eMLS Competitor’s name totally inappropriate?

in more pressing matters…. of all the clubs ZSteffen could play for where he’d be the man and get untold opportunity to develop into a world class talent, why ‘choose’ the team with a world class goalkeeper in front of you.

    …over my head.

    • That was my first thought with the new e-Player. Maybe that says more about us… ha.

    • J is for Jeff is in appropriate? Maybe you both need to get your heads out of the gutter (bit tongue and cheek here). It honestly didn’t strike me as anything until I read your comments. Mostly because I find the e-sports part of the Union irrelevant and quickly scanned over the new guy’s name.

    • “is it me or is the Union eMLS totally inappropriate?”

      fixed it for you…

  2. So after a few trades and the expansion draft, FCC’s striker pairing of Adi and Mattocks is already far more dangerous than anything we have to offer
