hey lets talk about Union in-fighting instead of keeping our eye on the ball… or in the case of the SIX Union players standing in the box ball watching on the second Villa goal… maybe we should be taking our eye off the ball.
    .
    Otherwise… who gives a shit.
    .
Newflash… players argue… ALL THE TIME. Means nothing. Hell I play at YSC occasionally around noon… you ever up there around noon for the noon pick up—watching 40 year old men in-fight during a game? Happens every single day… then we sit around afterwards busting balls and discussing the incident.
    .
this is not news- and it certainly has no goddamn bearing on the impending outcome Wednesday evening… while my entire family trick or treats during game time…
    .
Want to discuss something of value? Let’s discuss the total inability to secure 1 lousy point so I can sit live for a freaking playoff game.

by the way…. Steve… this rant is in no way an assault on you. I hope by now, with my finger wagging know it all soap box I carry around here its seldom ever directed at the person spending time putting the news together.

    • Don’t you know the American soccer fan is more interested in drama and human interest than tactics and game analysis. C’mon what were you thinking.
      .
Seriously though, I couldn’t agree more.

      • Why limit it to American fans. Add the Brits. And for all I know the Spanish, Germans, and French. I have read more cogent analysis of soccer matches on this page than I have ever read in any of the soccer rags in the UK during my time there. If I read another article about the WAGS and new cars, I would kill myself. Revel in how good we have it here.

      • I’m all for being inclusive. Throw everybody in there! I was really trying to point out the tendency (IMO) for news outlets to dumb down coverage. You know, because Americans know nothing about footy 😉 .

      • My assumption is that Burke came out to preserve him from a second yellow.

    • Wut wut wut…Is there any back story to this as in why? Does he have a history of concussions or something? And this really makes drafting Rosenberry look like the right decision. Good luck to Vincent in whatever he chooses to do now.

    • Good catch cPfeif!

    • And a big shout out to aaaaaall the brainiacs here who spent the weeks after that first round going nuts over how the Earnie Stewart and the Union had BOTCHED the draft for passing Vincent by.
      .
Reminded me of a bunch of OTHER brainiacs who went to an NFL draft to just boo Donovan McNabb because he wasn’t Ricky Williams. (How COULD the Eagles pass up on Williams? Don’t they know ANYTHING???)
      .
And that stellar “expertise” (“I know more than THEY do!”) keeps getting tossed around here every friggin’ day like poo in a cage.
      .
Let’s have a go back in the archives, shall we?
