KYW’s Greg Orlandini and PSP’s Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined today by Philadelphia Union defender Steven Vitoria in the latest edition of the KYW Philly Soccer Show.

The Toronto-born center back, who joined the club on loan from the Benfica in the preseason, talks about adjusting to MLS and the possibility of playing for the Canadian national team.

PSP columnist Peter Andrews then joins Greg and Eli to talk about last weekend’s draw on the road with Real Salt Lake.

Up 3-2 in the 85th minute, the Union seemed on the way to their first win of the season. But a dubious call against Maurice Edu on RSL’s Luke Mulholland resulted in the penalty kick goal that saw the game end in a 3-3 draw.

Greg, Eli, and Peter discuss the state of refereeing in Major League Soccer, now that the officials have played a major role in both of the Union’s games so far this season.

Finally, the guys look ahead to Friday’s game at PPL Park against a tough FC Dallas.
